Business IT Support Specialist
Chris McLachlan currently works as consultant for companies that handles all of their equipment. This ranges from desktop and laptops, to servers, as well as security systems. Daily work includes handling all requests from clients for help, to maintaining Windows Servers, making sure backups are done, and going onsite to fix any issues.
Previous work includes being the lead computer technician. Jobs ranged from building computers, repairing all varieties of computers and devices, as well as admin jobs. I was also tasked with doing onsite jobs in large businesses to people’s homes.
Chris also worked as front-end IT support for many years. Directly interacting with clients to quickly determine what the issue is, and to provide a path to fixing it.
