Effective date: October 8, 2026
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of DataStream OS (the “Application”), an internal business application owned and operated by DataStream Networks Inc. (“DataStream”). By connecting a QuickBooks Online company to the Application, or by signing in to the Application, you agree to this Agreement.
1. License
DataStream grants its authorized employees and contractors a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application solely for DataStream’s internal business purposes. The Application is not sold, licensed or offered to any other person or organization.
2. Authorized use
You may use the Application only:
- with a DataStream Microsoft work account assigned a role in the Application
- within the permissions of that role
- in accordance with DataStream’s policies and applicable law
You must not:
share your account
- attempt to bypass access controls
- copy information from the Application for purposes unrelated to DataStream’s business
- reverse engineer, resell or distribute the Application
3. Connected services
The Application connects to third-party services used by DataStream, including QuickBooks Online by Intuit Inc. These connections are read-only: the Application reads information to display reports and does not create, change or delete data in QuickBooks Online or the other connected services.
Your use of QuickBooks Online remains subject to Intuit’s own terms. A QuickBooks Online company administrator may disconnect the Application at any time, in the Application (Settings → Disconnect) or in QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps → Connected apps). When disconnected, the Application revokes its access and deletes the QuickBooks data it had stored.
4. Data and privacy
Information processed by the Application is handled as described in the DataStream OS Privacy Policy. DataStream remains the owner of its business data. Intuit remains the owner of QuickBooks Online and its services.
5. Ownership
DataStream retains all rights, title and interest in the Application. This Agreement grants no rights other than those expressly stated.
6. Disclaimer
The Application is provided “as is” for internal use. Reports and figures it produces, such as recurring revenue or license counts, are derived from the connected services and should be verified against those services before being relied on for financial, legal or contractual decisions. To the extent permitted by law, DataStream disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DataStream is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Application.
8. Termination
DataStream may suspend or end access to the Application at any time, for example when a person leaves DataStream or changes role. Sections 4 to 7 survive termination.
9. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
